Fox Welcomes New Interior Designer

We are happy to announce our newest member Caitlyn Cathcart to the Fox team.

Caitlyn graduated in May 2018 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She enjoys designing for the user experience and has a passion for hospitality design. Caitlyn is intrigued with how spaces function and the way people interact with them. She believes it’s important to understand how people use these spaces in order for them to work efficiently.  This design philosophy was evident in her Senior Capstone project where she designed a café  with focus on seven different learning styles.  Caitlyn volunteered for The Big Event at SIU, was a peer mentor for under classmen during her residency at SIU, and was a part of the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society. Caitlyn is also an active member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association). 

Most notably, Caitlyn was the winner of the Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition  in 2017. You can check out her competition submitted work here.

Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with family but mostly relaxing at home with the TV on Netflix.
