Emerson constructed their current headquarters building in 1971, which included a 281-seat auditorium. Emerson’s management philosophy requires strong, frequent and personal communication with Business and Corporate leadership. This need coupled with Emerson’s dramatic global growth created the catalyst to replace the old auditorium.
Emerson selected Fox Architects to design a replacement auditorium to meet their unique needs. The design features state of the art presentation capabilities, a conference center and covered vehicle parking. Emphasis was placed on designing for the acoustic needs of spoken-word presentations, recognition of facial expressions from both a presenter’s and audience member’s vantage point and maximizing viewing angles for a variety of presentation types.
The new facility includes the 440-seat auditorium, conference center, lobby and parking.
