Nour initially started her collegiate journey in Palestine, where she was in the Bachelor of Architectural Engineering program at Berzeit University. When she immigrated to St Louis in 2017, she attended the Bachelor of Science in Architecture program at Ranken Technical College. In 2019, Nour graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. Now, she is studying at Washington University in St. Louis to pursue her Master’s degree in Architecture. Nour is interested in researching refugee camps as a form of informal settlements and displacement shelters as well as searching for the meaning of shelter as a verb.
Besides architecture, Nour uses art through digital collage, watercolor, and acrylic paintings to draw attention to her rich Palestinian culture and heritage.
In her free time, Nour enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, reading, crafting, and cooking.
